About Donations
Donations are the best way to support Theatre by the Bay and all of our programs! You can donate any amount, at any time, and you don’t have to be a member to donate.
After you complete your donation, an account will be created for you so you can easily keep your information up to date and view records.
Instant tax receipts
An instant tax receipt is included with each donation made, regardless of the amount. This will be sent to your email address within minutes of completing your donation.
All donations of $20 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt. Every donor receives heartfelt thanks and public recognition, unless anonymity is preferred.

Leading Role – $600 (or $50/month)

- Invitation to an exclusive rehearsal, talkback, or donor event
- Printed donor recognition in Annual Report
Starring Role – $750 (or $62.50/month)
All the previous benefits, plus:
- A show ticket to a Theatre by the Bay regular season performances
- Recognition on digital lobby signage
Centre Stage Role – $1,200 (or $100/month)
All the previous benefits, plus:
- Invitation to a private Donors & Artists Reception (Festival or Fundraiser)
- Verbal thank-you at a performance or donor gathering
- Donor spotlight (with permission) on social media or e-news
Patron Role – $2,000 (or $167/month)
All the previous benefits, plus:
- Access to a behind-the-scenes tour with Artistic/Production leads
- Dedicated thank-you letter from the Executive Producer

*Auto-Renewals: Every membership lasts for a period of 12 months from the day that you sign up. Renewals are handled automatically by our system, and you will be sent reminder emails when it is time to renew. You have the ability to cancel if you wish not to renew.
**All members in good standing are entitled to one vote at the AGM.
