Following the success of Crime After Crime (After Crime), Toronto-based comedy company Sex T-Rex proudly returns to the Barrie Theatre Festival with their most beloved and acclaimed one-act show, SwordPlay: A Play of Swords!

Artists
Conor Bradbury is a Dora award winning actor, comedian and one of the founding members of Sex T-Rex.
He was a cast member/creator of The Second City's 89th and 90th Mainstage reviews and has appeared in recent live productions with Bad Dog Theatre (Hookup) and The Howland Company (Entrances & Exits). He has performed in several internationally acclaimed festivals such as Just For Laughs, The Next Stage Festival and countless Fringe Festivals across the country.
Some of his film and T.V. credits include What We Do in the Shadows (FX), The Handmaid's Tale (HBO) and Homeschooled (CBC).
Julian is a performer, writer, and teacher. He teaches Improv to academics at the University of Toronto and occasionally around the GTA. He's also a burgeoning game designer, with his Canadian TTRPG 'Sine' having been published in 2025. Julian is proud to work with a company that has trailblazed cinematic and theatrical narrative storytelling in the Toronto comedy scene and beyond.
Lowen is an award-winning actor, puppeteer, comedian, producer and a theatre and filmmaker originally from Nova Scotia. Their debut feature film (Dead Lover, Grace Glowicki) premiered at Sundance, SXSW, Rotterdam, and has played in theatres internationally. Select theatre companies they've worked with include The Tarragon (Orphan Song, Richard Rose); Mermaid Theatre (Good Night Moon, Jim Morrow); and Bad New Days (Pinocchio,
Adam Paolozza). They co-produce Blockbuster Week, an annual improv festival with Bad Dog Theatre, and their short film Mothballs makes its Canadian premiere at the 2026 Inside Out Festival. They are a proud core member of Sex T-Rex.
Seann is a writer, improviser and stage manager from Fredericton, N.B. where he got his start with Theatre Free Radical. Selected non-Sex-T-Rex SM credits include Laura Ramoso's Sit Up Straight, Ajahnis Charley's Thots and Prayers, and the Canadian Comedy Award winning Adventures of Tom Shadow. Seann is the technical director of Bad Dog Theatre.
Sharjil Rasool is an actor, comedian and writer. He is an alumni of The Second City Toronto
Mainstage and was featured in JFL42’s New Faces. You can catch him as Nikhil in Run the
Burbs (CBC/Hulu), and hear his voice as Jasper in Piñata Smashlings (YTV) and Ajit in
Bakugan: Battle Planet (Cartoon Network/Netflix). Other television credits include What We
Do in the Shadows (FX), Adults (FX), Baroness von Sketch Show (CBC/IFC), SkyMed
(CBC/Paramount+) and the upcoming series The Miniature Wife (Peacock). Sharjil has also
written for This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CBC). He is a Dora Mavor Moore Award winner (Best
