It's our 20th season anniversary this year! This year, Theatre by the Bay is celebrating its 20th season anniversary. This is a landmark occasion for us and we're so grateful to all of our patrons, donors, sponsors, members, and artists for helping us get to this point. In 2002, Theatre by the Bay first started with a big tent in Heritage Park and a production of A Midsummer Night's dream. Spearheaded by founding Artistic Director, Larissa Mair, the company would go on to produce more Shakespeare productions, theatre for young audience shows, musicals, and, starting in 2013, new plays written about Barrie. This year, we're taking a look back at 20 seasons of Theatre by the Bay in a new documentary mini-series streaming exclusively through our website. A little note from us: in order to do this project justice, we're continuing the development of the documentary and taking more time to complete it. You might notice the trailer link above says "Spring 2022," but we've extended that timeline. More information on when this series will be available for streaming will be provided in the coming months. Stay tuned to our mailing list for more and thank you for your patience! |
