Show Details

  • The Ghost Watchers Walking Tour begins at Heritage Park (on the West side near the boat docks). Please arrive 15 minutes before your performance begins for a check-in.
  • The show loops around the downtown and ends at Memorial Square, right in the center of downtown and only a few hundred feet from where the show began.
  • The closest parking is the Heritage Park parking lot (accessed by Simcoe Street). Next would be the Fred Grant Square parking lot next to Meridian Place.
  • This downtown walking tour runs for approximately 90 minutes.
  • Designed with social distancing in mind. TBTB staff are committed to providing a safe experience and we request audience members agree to follow current health guidelines.
  • Developed with support of Tourism Barrie, whose generous partnership allowed TBTB to create the cutting-edge augmented reality experience that audiences will get to enjoy!

Important Notices

Participants are HIGHLY encouraged to bring headphones/earbuds and a (charged) cellphone with a data plan.

Participants' phones should have the ability to scan a QR code. If you are unsure if your phone has the ability to scan QR codes, please scan our test file with your phone's camera. If it does not work, you can also download a QR code scanner app through your app store.

A version of the production for those with accessibility requirements is currently in development and will likely be available at the end of July or early August.

Audiences are encouraged to dress and bring appropriate equipment for the weather. Sunscreen, hats, and water for sunny days, bug spray for evening performances, jackets and umbrellas for rain, etc.

This show includes mature themes and is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
