The Indie Producer’s Co-op provides two students from George Brown Theatre School with a ground-level education in producing theatre.

This program offers a two week intensive class on the role of the producer, followed by four weeks of training on the job, working on preparations for our 2017 season.

Andrew is a Theatre Artist from Bowen Island, BC and has just completed his second year at George Brown Theatre School. He is the Co-founder of The Chocolate Moose Theatre Company based in Montreal. Selected George Brown credits: Roderigo in Don Carlos (dir. Jeanette Lambermont-Morey), Mr. Sterling in The Clandestine Marriage  (dir. Jordan Pettle), Mr. Hardcastle in She Stoops to Conquer (dir. Jordan Pettle).  Other Theatre:  Jerry in At Home at the Zoo (Chocolate Moose), Director – Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead  (Chocolate Moose), Dr. Faustus in Dr. Faustus (Chocolate Moose), Tom The Glass Menagerie (Kingbaby Productions).

Jake is an actor-singer-dancer-musician from Newmarket, Ontario. He is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School. Select Theatre Credits: Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Duke Frederick in As You Like It, and Jesus in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (GBTS), Animal Nature (Clay and Paper Theatre), Asylum (Theatre TOnight/Canadian Stage).

Jake produced the original piece, Knots, at the 2016 Toronto Fringe Festival, and his one-man show, The Newmarket Show, at the 2017 VPAN Young Artists’ Showcase. In his free time, Jake enjoys writing musicals.
