How can I become a volunteer?
We are always looking for more volunteers! Please feel free to stop into the office to fill out a volunteer form, and get your Theatre by the Bay t-shirt. We can also answer anymore questions you may have about volunteering at that time.

How can I become a member?
At Theatre by the Bay there are many different membership levels that can suit any contribution. You can call the Theatre by the Bay Box Office at 705.735.9243 and talk to one of our box office staff about what Membership level is right for you.

How can I become a sponsor?
There are various levels of sponsorship for your business that can fit within your community contribution budget. Contact with Larissa Mair, Artistic Producer, at 705-735-9243 or larissa@theatrebythebay.com to arrange a meeting and discuss various options.

How do I get to the theatre from Barrie, Toronto, Orillia?
From Toronto
Take Hwy 400 North to Barrie, to the Dunlop Street East exit. The theatre is on the right hand side,between Mary Street and Maple Avenue in downtown Barrie.
From Orillia
Take Hwy 11 South to Barrie, exit at Dunlop Street East. Turn right onto Dunlop Street East. The theatre is located at 55 Dunlop Street West.
What are the dates and times of the shows playing?
Main Company - The Taming of the Shrew
- August 5th to August 21st, 2010
- Every Monday through Saturday at 8 pm with a 2 pm matinee on Wednesdays.
- No performances on Sundays.
Young Company - Aladdin and Jasmine's Summer Adventure
- August 7th to August 27th, 2010
- Shows are at 10:30 and 3:30 every day except Wednesdays, with the exception of only a 10:30 show on Monday August 16th.

How do I pay for my tickets?
You can pay for your tickets at the Theatre by the Bay box office at 55 Dunlop Street East, Unit 1 in Barrie or over the phone by credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
How can I get my tickets?
You can pick up your tickets at the Theatre by the Bay box office at 55 Dunlop Street East, Unit 1 in Barrie or reserve them over the phone and pick them up 15 minutes prior to the performance at the venue.
Where can I eat that is close to the theatre?
There are a number of fabulous restaurants in the vicinity.

Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
What is the policy regarding children?
Every child is welcome, but must pay for a ticket if they require a seat.
What is your exchange policy?
There are no refunds or exchanges after a ticket is purchased.
Will latecomers be admitted?
Latecomers will be admitted during an appropriate break during the performance, escorted by one of our ushers. It is preferred that patrons are punctual as being admitted late may cause a distraction for audience members and cast.
What is your policy for Bus tours?
Bus tours receive a special group rate which varies from show to show. Contact our box office staff at 705.735.9243 to arrange a bus tour group to attend one of Theatre by the Bay's performances.
The organizer and bus driver receive complimentary tickets to groups that have over 10 people.
